Changing your 2-Step Verification method


How can I change my chosen verification method?


Changing your preferred 2-Step Verification method is simple!

All you need is a valid verification code or, if you are having trouble generating one, one of your recovery codes.

To get started, visit the Security Settings tab of your Account Management page.

Once you have logged in:
-    Click on Manage my 2-Step Verification preferences in the 2-Step Verification section.
-    From the pop-up window, select Email or Google Authenticator.
You can also choose to disable the feature at this point.
-    Confirm the change by clicking Choose.
Next, follow the on-screen instructions to enable the feature on your email or mobile device.
You can also access your Security Settings page via the Uplay PC client.
-    Click on your avatar in the top right hand corner.
-    Select Account information from the list.
-    Click Manage to be taken to the website.

Please note that once you have changed your preferred method of verification, you will only be able to access your account using the code generated by that method.
