How do I change my Username?
Your Uplay Display username can either be changed on the Ubisoft Club website or on Uplay PC.

Change your display name on the website.
To change your Username on the website, simply log on to Uplay.com and visit the "Account Management" section. By clicking on "Edit" (as seen below) edit your account information.

You can enter a new Username. Type your new/favorite name in the Username box. A quick check will be made, and if the Username is available click on the Save button and you’re done!

We hope to implement the ability to change your Username directly into Uplay consoles, Uplay PC, and Uplay Companion App (on mobiles and tablets) in the very near future.

What's the difference between my Legacy Username and my New Username?

Your current Username will now become your ‘Legacy Username’, which cannot be changed, but will be saved permanently on your account.

Your Legacy Username is a personal identifier displayed in your account information page only, and is unique to you. Your Legacy Username will be required for old Ubisoft titles prior to October 14th, 2014.

Your New Username, a personal identifier as well, appears in your profile on club.ubi.com, is displayed on Uplay consoles and PC (friends list included) and in-game for all the future Ubisoft titles, starting October 14th, 2014.

Your New Username will automatically be your current Username until you decide to change it.  

How long can my Username be?
Your Username must start with a letter and may contain 3 to 15 characters with letters, digits, underscores (_), dashes (-), and dots (.).

Before changing your Username
Changing your Username is not a decision to be taken lightly, and it’s certainly not something you should do on a regular basis. 
If you decide to change your Username, while you won’t lose your saved games, your friends list, or anything else, many people might suddenly start to wonder who you are and why they added you in their Friends list. So make sure you get it right!

Why do you need my Date of Birth when registering for an Uplay account?
We require your date of birth as a security measure in order to positively identify you, should you need to contact Ubisoft by telephone or via the web, please click HERE.

I have incorrectly entered my Date of Birth but it will not let me correct it, what do I do?
To change your date of birth you should contact our Customer Service team with details of your request HERE.

I have incorrectly entered my Country of Residence but it will not let me correct it, what do I do?
To change your country of Residence you should contact our Customer Service team with details of your request HERE.

How can I change the Email address for my Uplay account?
If you wish to change the Email address for your account, you can now edit your own account from the Uplay site. To do this go to the Uplay Account Management page and follow the steps below:

1. Go to Uplay.com and click on the Sign In button

2. Enter your Email Address and your Password, and then click log In.

3. Click on the Change button as highlighted below, to be sent an email to allow you to update the email address linked to your Uplay account.

4. Once you have clicked on the button, the site will show you a confirmation as below:

5. You will then receive an automatically generated email, click on the link to be taken to the final step.

6. Once you click on the link you will be prompted to log in to the support site.

7. You will then be prompted to enter and confirm your new email address.

You will receive confirmation of this change via email. 

I forgot my password, is there a way you can send it to me?
In order to reset your password please click here and enter your email address, please follow the steps from the received email regarding your password reset. 

I have not received my password reset email, what can I do?
Please check your Spam/Junk folder in your email, it is possible this may have been flagged as Spam and therefore missed your inbox.
You can also add the following address to your safe sender list to ensure it isn’t missed - AccountSupport@ubi.com

How do I link my account to my Facebook, Xbox Live Gamertag and/or my PlayStation ID?
The first time you open an Uplay enabled game you will be prompted to enter your Uplay email address and password. Once done this will link your two accounts. For a step-by-step please see HERE.

I have more than one Uplay account, can I merge the accounts?
We do not currently support the ability to merge Uplay accounts, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

How do I delete my Uplay account?
Please remember that your Uplay account is completely free and we will not send you emails unless requested. Deleting your account may also result in losing access to functions of your games or access to any PC games bound to your account.
